“The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was better than expected and the entire place felt very clean. I usually don’t prefer a hotel due to limited space but the living area in our room was a very nice feature. This is where I will stay in the future if in the area.”

“The housekeeping staff stood right outside my door Sunday morning at 8 am very loudly. Woke me up. I wasn’t sleeping very well so it seemed like I got zero sleep. Problem is when I complained, nothing changed. They stayed talking in the hallway for about 30 mins. Not normal for Hilton brand. ”

Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. “The first thing we noticed was how friendly and welcoming the hotel employees were. Honestly, that was a very nice surprise. Our room and bathroom were both very clean and spacious. There was a definite modern feel to the room that we were not used to, but still mostly met our needs. We did wish there were a couple of comfy chairs for lounging about in the room. “The Oceaneer surprised us in many ways. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and the property is exceptionally clean. The recent renovation gives the place a very modern feel. They did an excellent job transforming the old motel rooms into cozy, contemporary spaces with a nicely updated bathroom and shower. They even managed to fit a small sofa into the room. (The only slightly odd thing was that the table was bolted to the floor and couldn’t be moved.) The A/C……

“It’s at the beach. What more do you really need to say . The whole point of this property is that it is beachfront. Your room has a view of the beach. Your balcony has a view of the beach and you’re literally steps away from the beach. Due to the humidity, you do get a bit of an odor in the room. Kind of musty. But clearly the air conditioner is too large for the space. So that makes it a little worse for the humidity and the clamminess in the room. And the air conditioner is very loud. While……

“The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM.”
