“Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit.”

“This house was perfect. It was clean, and well equipped. Beautiful location. We found so many nearby fall activities. And the foliage was peaking, everywhere was beautiful. The Intervale Pancake House next to Pats Peak has a great breakfast. Hikes in Fox Forest. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning with my coffee and the evening with my wine. “Our son and granddaughter live in Dover so we always find a place to stay so we can visit. This was one of our favorites. Right on bear lake beautiful sunsets the water was warm enough to swim. There was kayaks there to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes,seasoning. We had a great time. Just be careful driving in the road is pretty rough.”

“We used this house as a base for a for a week long Mother-Daughter-Granddaughter get together. The large kitchen (actually 2 of them) and gathering rooms were perfect for entertaining as well as the huge deck. We had a cook-out one day and had around 22 people popping in and out.
