“Boardwalk is a beautiful place with an incredible staff that is super-responsive to the guests. The casitas are roomy, have a kitchenette which is really handy for leftovers, etc., and a nice menu for lunch and dinner. The only downside is that it's not right on the ocean--there's a little shuttle that takes you to the beach, or you can walk there in about five minutes. Always enough palapas by the pool and by the beach!”

“The staff is more than courteous, always willing to help with any request for help from the young man vacuuming the hallway who cheerfully ran the vacuum in my bathroom as i brought a little sand in and the roomhad just been cleaned to the young girl at the beach and Elliott who got us chairs.Also Salt a d Pepper was excellent way to start the day.and Priscilla made us laugh. The room was clean and comfortable bed. Pool was great with drinks too ”

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“Rooms were very clean. Staff at the Barcelo are exceptionally nice. The Royal restaurant on the 9th floor is definitely the best, especially their manger George. George is as professional as they come. Super nice, quick witted, and very particular in how he presents himself, and his dinner service is 2nd to NONE!….Nice job George. See you next year!”

“We got stuck when the faa Closed airspace due to Venezuela attacks. We were scrambling for a family of 4 for a place to say. This place was spacious, clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again and appreciated all the help getting us in before check-in so we had a place for all our luggage etc. your cleaning crew does an amazing job the place looked brand new. Thank you. We will be back!”
