“For the price that I was paying per night, not having complimentary coffee was not acceptable. My in-room refrigerator made intermittent noises, which would wake me up several times each night. Also, the Marriott app is not user-friendly at all. Finding an actual phone number for the property I was staying at to let them know I needed a late check-in (due to the time of my arriving flight) was virtually impossible and required a call to Marriott Customer Service and the help of a supervisor. ……

“Very large, fancy and tidy room. Poor elevator and a lot of people hang out in the lobby without wearing face mask.”

“If something goes wrong, don’t expect any help. We had ants in our room and the front desk told us they would have to wait for maintenance to come in the morning to put any sort of trap or repellant out, and didn’t offer to switch our room at all. The second night the fire alarm went off twice due to faulty equipment, but we had to evacuate twice in the middle of the night with terrified children and slept terribly. The hotel offered absolutely no helpful compensation or resolution for that……
