“The stay was exactly what we expected given an economy hotel. The price was outstanding, the room was comfortable (if dated) and the staff were pleasant. No major problems at all. It clearly wasn’t the Hilton, but we expected that going in, and tempered our expectations to what we were paying for the stay. All in all, it was a pleasant stay that met our needs at a great price.”

“The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. The room itself was large, very clean, with a mini kitchen should it be necessary, and a single serve coffee pot was available. The bathroom was very clean, great……

“Cabin was cozy, clean and easy to heat to use the A/C. The view was nice! Kitchen supplies were ample, cold fridge and ice trays were a plus!!The water tastes great!! Loved the screened in porch along with the rocky chairs on the front porch!”

“Great location, beautiful home, very clean, awesome communication from the host. They were helpful and accommodating. The downstairs is full of games like table tennis, pool, ski-ball and plenty of board games and such. The kids in our group never once said they were bored. It was a Thanksgiving miracle! There are so many extras as well, several types of hot chocolate/coffee makers, plenty of pots and pans, we even made soda slushees with the ice cream machine! They really thought of everything.……

“This is like home away from home. I pets were allowed access to the wonderful fenced in backyard. Our children recently moved to TN and the house happened to be 7 min. From their. It allowed us to enjoy Christmas day as a family. We will definitely choose to stay here again. The property management is very responsive and attentive about if anything is needed. It is located in a lovely subdivision and about 15 min. From downtown Cookeville. There are many state parks nearby also.”
