“Neglected property. No hot water in shower, due to scaling build-up. Deck visibly not safe, with decayed wood and loose banisters, two stories up! I imagined a single parent with child being horrified. Tripping hazard via corners of area carpets used to hide stains on wall to wall carpeting. Advertised Wi-Fi, instead had an unsecured Starlink connection, with no password. Deck was not private.Vrbo assisted me and I was moved to a safe clean place with a maintained and functioning hot shower.”

“I really can't say enough about this property. The location is perfect, right on Washington Street, the main thoroughfare in Sonora. The entire town is walkable from here. The property itself is maintained in excellent condition - especially considering that it's well over 100 years old. The bedroom at the rear of the unit is quiet and comfortable. “This was an awesome basecamp for exploring Yosemite. It feels private and wooded but is close to restaurants and shops in Groveland. We didn't get a chance to swim in the nearby lake, but it looks like it would have been great on a warmer weekend. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and cozying up by the fireplace on a rainy evening. Having laundry was a huge plus after long hiking days.”
