“Crazy cow saloon open only 4 hours. Bartender was so rude to us ! She needs to work on her customer service skills! ”

“I mean it's a $50ish dollar a night hotel (when we stayed). The breakfast was ok, the room had a bit of a funky smell, but you get what you pay for. ”

“We’ve been staying at Grant Hills for years. The rooms aren’t fancy, though are very clean and comfortable. We like the option to bring our pups with if we choose. The cost of a two night stay is many times less than one night in other Galena hotels. It’s always very quiet and there is a walking path not far away. ”

“I liked the view from my room it was very relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable.”

“Pool area was very crowded, the hot tub was packed with kids. No toys are allowed in the pool at all. Very short staffed.Breakfast very basic.Elevator out of order and because the hotel charged me for early check in and shouldn’t have it took 2 hours to get checked in.”

“The room and the entire hotel was clean and comfortable. The gym (handful of cardio machines and a resistance weight-training machine) and pool are both small, but given we went during the off-season, we always had it to ourselves. Free breakfast was good.”

“There was never anyone at the front desk had to call a number and wait for someone and the hot water was terrible it took 25 minutes with the water running constantly to even begin to get warm water it never fully got hot ”

“Waterpark was closed, so that was a bummer and not advertised on Expedia. But the main concern, was the fire alarm went off at 3am and the entire hotel had to evacuate. There was something wrong with the alarm in my room, as it emitted a typical loud fire alarm sound-but for some reason, it also emitted an extremely high pitch sound that was the loudest thing i have ever heard in my life. As I write this the next day, my ears are still ringing horribly. The sound of the alarm after 5 mins of……

“The rooms were not clean. The TV was outdated. There were stains on the carpet, bugs in the light fixtures, and the paint was chipped off the walls. Our room key stopped working and the man at the front desk was unapologetic. The elevator was jerky and the door barely opened. The food was cold and unappealing. This hotel should be shut down or the price should be dropped significantly.”

“We have stayed here plenty of times. This time the check in lady wasn't friendly, short with us. The room wasn't as clean as they usually are. ”

“The room and bathroom and bedroom was very clean. So is the kitchen. The staff is also extremely helpful. Unfortunately, in our first room, the microwave did not work at all so they switched us to another room where there were two microwaves. One did not work, but the other one did work. Also, our first room seemed to have all of the pots and pans that we would have needed in the second room. So I guess if you need pots and pans and cups and things like that at the front desk because……
