“It's a motel and the location is pretty good. Everything is in walking distance since it's a small town. Yet, the lodge is too old and it's on the main street. You can hear everything, even the snores next door.”

“The room was fine; clean and somewhat modern. What was annoying was that after I booked thru Expedia I called the motel ans asked to have a top floor room if one was available. The guy who answered the call stated that since I booked thru EXPEDIA there was absolutely NOTHING he could do about even considering my request. Made me feel like I was "second class" for booking thru EXPEDIA. The ground floor room was what I booked and that was that. When I got there....the room was right adjacent……

“You can tell the location is old and newly renovated. It’s a nice renovation but “interesting.” Nothing horrible, but just strange. There are no usable outlets in the room other than the one that is part of the lamp. The bathroom is huge/long - lots of wasted space. There is a usable outlet in the bathroom, but it’s loose. The complimentary coffee maker is in the bathroom on the lower-than-average sink counter is at one end of the bathroom. The toilet is in the middle of the rectangular……

“Average hotel, above average staff, with delightful quirks. I loved my stay here last weekend. The hotel appears to be average at first glance. The rooms are large. Love the separate living space from the bedroom. The furniture was comfortably worn-in, but serviceable. The cleanliness was very good! The staff were dog-friendly and loved my pittie Bruce every chance they got. Parking was easy, and access from parking to rooms is good. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Murphys Main……

“When we showed up there was a for sale sign on the sign at the entrance and nobody in the office. I had to call a phone number that was on the door to check in. They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on. The railing going up the stairs was wobbly and made us feel uncomfortable. Both my wife and I are in our mid 70’s and had a hard time with……
