“It’s our first time using Vrbo and staying at a vacation house. The stay overall was pleasant: the manager was very responsive to our inquiries, the house was clean and pretty. Our service dog particularly enjoyed the pool. The only problem was that the property is located beside the main road, and the traffic could be annoying at night.”

“We stayed there for an event in town and loved the place! The house has modern renovations with old town appeal. It is located within 10 minutes of pretty much everything you would want to do. The house gives a cozy atmosphere for relaxing if you choose to just hang out. The neighborhood is quiet, no noisy neighbors to keep you up. Communication with the host was great! All questions answered in the email provided before we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a wonderful cabin for a quiet retreat. From breakfasts on the deck overlooking the lake to afternoons on the dock watching the world go by, you can’t ask for a better property. The hosts are very responsive and made sure we had everything to make our stay memorable. One evening as thunderstorms rolled through, the host stopped by to ensure we were safe. Also, Jefferson, with several nice restaurants and shops, is worth the short drive.”

“If there was a way to score 1/2 star I am not sure this property would even be worth that. We booked our stay and received the confirmation from VRBO. But when we showed up our cabin was locked and we could not get in. I called the host and she instructed us to go to the cabin across the street. We did, it was unlocked. We unloaded our things and then received a knock on the door, met a lovely couple who said they were there to check in. I called the host again. She said she didn’t know what……

“My family stayed at this home last summer and loved it! We couldn’t wait to go again this summer! However, the area suffered extreme flooding before we got there. Christina was a great host and was in constant communication with us about the flooding and offered to let us reschedule or cancel. We will definitely be rescheduling!”

“Pros: The cabin was adorably decorated and very clean! Beds were super comfortable with new mattresses. Lots of extras, including seasonings and some condiments left in the fridge. Pellet grill was already stocked with pellets and ready to use. Wifi worked well, cell service was good, and TVs were provided in living room and all three bedrooms. Cushions were available for the two outside chairs. Amazing gas stove!! (One of my favorite parts) Cons: Yard was very overgrown due to standing water……

“We had a great stay. The cabin was super clean, good location, great views of the lake, and perfect size for a family of four. Super comfy, reclining, leather couches. The king size bed was comfortable and clean. Great little kitchen. Overall a great time. When we were at the cabin we enjoyed the satellite cable and the AC was easy to understand and kept us so nice and cool. Perfect little vacay.”

“We loved our stay here! It was right off the Cypress Bayou on a branch of the river so we could easily kayak to the main bayou and access a nearby rope swing, but we were away from all the boating noise. We stayed there with our 4 little ones and had plenty of room! We loved the covered back patio that has doors we could lock on all sides so the kids could not access the water. Host was great and gave us tips on where to eat! Highly recommend, it is such a beautiful and unique area to stay in!……

“The 1st thing you notice when you drive up is all the parking space, the beautiful landscape and cute wooden bridge. When you open the front door...lets just say the pictures do not do justice to how gorgeous the inside of the house is. The wide open layout gave us so much room to enjoy ourselves. Everything you need from cooking, to laundry..to showering is all there. They have thought of everything for their guests. The game room was perfect for the teenagers to hang out and have their own……
