"Proprietor Jeane was fantastic. She is friendly and provided outstanding service. The inn has a good vibe - relaxed and comfortable like you’re visiting family or friends. It’s a bit noisy due to creaky floors and street noise heard thru the windows but it’s sort of expected for a century old bldg. Breakfast was delicious. "

"Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. The location was very nice. We were close to Asheville and Lake Lure, both of which were fun locations that had a lot of stuff to do. And the house was very high up in a mountain, which had great views. The hosts were also very responsive, and any time we had an issue they were able to respond quickly. I thought the dinner plates were very enjoyable. My favorites were the white square ones, that felt like they were always just the right size for the food I was eating, and they were easy to clean off. The fact that they were a square a not a circle was novel, and made them enjoyable to eat off of. Overall the house was a great time, at a good location, with good amenities."
