“Rooms are huge! But dated. They were doing improvements and additions when we were there. Beautiful location and historic charm. Breakfast in the dining room is Saturday and Sunday only. FYI”

“The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. The air conditioner and TV worked well but the window shades were hard to operate. Our room had a queen-sized bed and it was nice. The biggest challenge was that……

“We had a very comfortable stay at Franklin Terrace bed and breakfast! Paul is the sweetest person and he takes best care of his customers. It is centrally located and easy walk to Main Street. It’s nice to know that it’s recognized as national historic place. The structure is originally erected in 1887!! If there’s something to complain, the bed is too soft for our convenience and one of the staff Kelly can be little bit more friendly.”

“We did not bring our dog but this a true doggie hotel. Rooms were furnished with a large dog bed and bowls. Dogs were well behaved and everywhere. A rooms have a balcony and the inn has underground parking. The Inn had a nice courtyard and a variety of bottles of wine were available for a reasonable price. The Inn is on the main street of town and very accessible to shops and restaurants.”

“We had a very nice stay However, having said that things seemed just a little "OFF'. There are no closets, just pegs to hang your clothes, the web says that they serve free breakfast but they do not, you have to dress and leave the property for breakfast as the restaurant on sight does not serve it. There is no easy chair in the room just a straight back desk chair. There is no office area to print air tickets or boarding passes and the first person behind the counter said that they couldn't do……

“The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel.”

“Excellent staff. Caring and helpful. Clean! Nice breakfast. Spacious king size bedroom. Only issue was the single elevator failed and climbing 3 stories was no fun at all. Fortunately it failed one day ago and not at the start of our weeklong stay.”
