"It was a little creepy to have a camera on the balcony so we didn't feel comfortable about being watched while enjoying the view. Would have thought twice about staying here had we been aware of that so word to the wise. There was a bird tapping in the glass sliding door early morning which was interesting. Wouldn't stay here again because of the lack of privacy. "

"We had a fantastic trip the last week of December 2025. The host was communicative and provided tons of helpful information about the area. The house was just as described. Everything was neat and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great time exploring the beach and the nearby state park. We also spent some time shopping in Beaufort, which has fantastic shops and warm people.The views from the home were beautiful. We saw dolphins daily. The neighborhood was very calm. The location was a perfect place to bring in a peaceful new year!"

"Very nice, had something for all ages and interests. Turtle's Nest staff was very helpful. Good location to Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park. Security staff was a bit overbearing and could have been more flexible as it was a holiday week and very few homes were occupied. "

"Amazing property. The house was very clean and extremely close to the beach. The owner is extremely responsive and made the checkin process seamless. The community was very quiet with low traffic, a playground, tennis courts, etc. We loved our stay and will be back soon. "
