“The property was a 5 the room was a 4 . It was nice that it was after Labor Day and all their amenities were still open and available. Last year we stayed somewhere that same timeframe and nothing was out or available for us to use. The gentleman that works there was always there maintaining the property and amenities. He was able to answer any questions that we had. The property is across the street from the lake and next-door to a marina so everything you need in walking distance.”

“We loved the property. Had a bon fire Saturday night, peaceful and enjoyable. Location was great for going north or south. Highly recommend and definitely would stay here again.”

“Well barking of dogs was much. Tv could not do any streaming and TV had no regular channels especially football. Gave housekeeping our towels to get new ones. But they did not give us new ones.”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Loved being right on the Lake. Super quiet and relaxing town. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave were nice to have available. Would stay again when in the area. Feels like "old Michigan"! Charming and quaint and not overrun with people.”

“Old dirty motel. Over priced considering old and dirty. Tv was an antique. Keys but no dead bolt on door. Tub needs replaced”

“I had booked my room 1 week prior to my stay Labor Day Weekend....spent the day moving my son...was extremely tired...called Rodeway Inn at dinner....they informed me they were overbooked and I had no room.There was nothing affordable in Traverse City....now 10.pm....I slept in my car.Friends tell me it was a blessing since their stay at Rodeway was bad...a.dirty place.”

“Honestly, I was here for the reasonable rate. My expectations were low. BUT- if I were near Grayling again, I would go out of my way to stay here. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, soft sheets, QUIET! Beautifully renovated but still feels like a vintage time capsule 1940s motor court.”
