“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. We haven't tried the hotel next door as an alternative for dinner M-W, but that's basically your only option. For decent coffee, there is Mad……

“Very convinent place. Quiet and easy access for view points in Lake Tahoe. Lots of dinning options around the lodge. ”

“Super cute cabin vibe! Perfect for our little trio!!! Close to multiple restaurants! Beach Hut Deli, a cute little bakery and close to downtown! The firepit areas was so cute and peaceful. Awesome place to stay!”

“Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. We shopped at S. Lake……

“Pass key to the room we were originally assigned to did not work which required back and forth to the front desk and wasted time. There was no coffee in the room. Multiple things were broken. I escalated the issues with no response or help from anyone.”

“Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.) No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather. Fans are provided if needed otherwise ceiling fans are installed. Nice to have private hot tub and private pool, sauna and……

“Great property and staff is very communicative! Easy to check-in/check-out. We were late to check in and had an issue with the lock accessing our keys. We could reach out to them easily, and staff was there to help in 5-7mins. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a group stay. ”
