"Had an enjoyable stay at this family run guest house. The property is well located for exploring the historical streets of Ollantaytambo and is within a 10 minute walk to the main square or entrance to the ruins. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station or a moto taxi is available. Facility is immaculately clean and rooms have a rustic charm. The included breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, rolls and jam with cereal and eggs also available. Breakfast was small but tasty and sufficient to start our day. The owners are wonderful people who made us feel very welcome. They were very helpful during our stay. The only negative about was lack of sufficient hot water at times. But we would definitely stay at Parea Guest House again. "

"It was a really nice and convenient place to stay. The only problem we had was the water was lukewarm in the shower. The great warm comforter fixed that quickly though. Wonderful breakfast too!!"

"It’s a quaint hotel with 4 buildings surrounded by a nice garden with flowers and birds. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond when there was a power outage in our building. They resolved the problem quickly and were so nice to provide us extra waters and a dinner at no charge. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the center of town and to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo ruins. "

"This hotel was perfect for a few nights in Ollantaytambo - close to the downtown area but also close to the train station for an early Machu Picchu train departure. The family who runs it is so sweet - they make breakfast for the guests and will even pack up a to-go box if you have an early morning. The rooms are fine and can be a bit loud with the main road to the train station nearby, but the experience here was wonderful overall. We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here!"

"This is my second stay at El Aubergue and it never disappoints! Lovely ecofriendly hotel with on site farm to table restaurant and coffee shop directly adjacent to the train to Machu Picchu. Don’t miss the tour of the on site farm! Also, the owner has crafted an elegant and culturally respectful environment that even includes a primary school on the property for children in Ollantaytambo!"

"The accommodations catered to our needs that required two separate reservations before and after our hike to the Machu Pichu. The hotel stored our luggage free of charge without requiring us to pay for a room! The breakfast was nice and Sessa arranged for us to have our laundry cleaned at a nominal price. I highly recommend!"

"Beautiful and peaceful property, loved the breakfast (we ordered everything!), dinner and cocktails from bar. Also enjoyed the spa - hydro-circuit therapy was refreshing and massages were excellent. It is further from town, but that’s why we chose this lodge. After our 4-day trek, we very much appreciated the rest. Shuttle service was easy to arrange and always on time. Staff were kind and helpful, arranged everything requested, efficiently. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. "
