“So this is a tough review because I did not do my homework and didn’t realize where I was going. These are homes and maybe an old church converted to hotel rooms with the idea of being used for retreats, such as a marriage retreat. So pros: spectacular, hiking, extremely pleasant staff, very clean and a five star breakfast! Cons: this is not a hotel, so there are not amenities in the road, such as refrigerators or televisions. Overall, totally worth it! The castle is spectacular. ”

“We had a quick overnight stay and were really impressed. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The mountain views were absolutely beautiful and made for a relaxing atmosphere. There were also plenty of restaurant options nearby, which made dinner easy and convenient. Overall, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!”

“The views were very nice the mountains are right there it's like right in your face!! A Walmart superstore is right across the way,Rama in particular went out of her way to ensure my stay was great!”

“Property is contactless check in with no one onsite, however saw the housekeeper daily and she was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the location can’t be beat! Free parking within Manitou and walking distance to every thing. Loved that I could hear the babbling creek behind the motel. Made for great sleeping. Great base motel for all the activities the area has to offer! ”

“It was a very noisy and unrestful night. Running in the halls scraping furniture across the floor above us and loud talking late into the night in the rooms around us. The tile floors in the rooms are nice for a clean room, but the noise carries. ”

“We checked in the staff was friendly. The hotel has a bar now but it opens late. If you are handicapped the beds are pretty high. The room was clean, the bed covers just looked old. At 5:30pm they hold a dinner like Kick-Back is what the call it. There was meatballs in gravey, mashed potatoes, salad, hot dogs, mixed warm veggies, vegetable soup. Parents or adults can enjoy 2 adult beverages. They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a soda machine. The down side is people would put there……
