“Great location”

“Amanda and her family were amazing hosts. Everything was perfect. Such a comfy bed, nice hot water and big fluffy towels. Perfect.”

“We were in Newport for a wedding, and Admiral Sims House was a perfect complement to our needs for the trip. Our hosts were extremely accommodating by letting us check in early, and the room was exactly as depicted on the VRBO website. While we did not stay long enough to utilize many of the amenities of the property, it is clear that the hosts have listened to feedback from guests and done their best to make your stay comfortable and easy. It was very nice to start our morning with in-room……

Perfect location, we loved the convenience in getting to the wedding venue and enjoying a run along the ocean and Cliff-walk the next day. Check-in and out was simple and Owner was available if needed. Everything was great so we didn't have any reason to but nice to know they were there!”

“We were in Newport to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this great cottage was just what the doctor prescribed! Lou welcomed us with a bottle of wine in the cozy kitchen. The property was perfect for two and had everything to make a getaway memorable. It’s tastefully decorated and equipped with with new amenities. The property is on a quiet street and a short walking distance from a beach, the cliff walks, mansions, and all the other attractions of the city. If there’s one little snag for……

“The Nest is located in a lovely part of Charlestown and has easy access to many of the popular sites (Narragansett, Newport, Kingston, Mystic CT). Our hosts, Melissa and Eric, were welcoming, checking in with us periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, welcoming, and a restorative place. There was not a single amenty that wasn’t intentionally considered in advance. The only word that comes to mind that could capture our experience at the Nest is magical.……

“Smack dab centered in the city. Almost 1,900 ft² of accommodation on two floors. Very clean and well kept. Object slightly to the fact that the house rules have added house keeping duties that must occur before checkout. Making customers responsible for making beds, left a question in my mind that for our stay, it was done in a sanitary manner.”

“Loved this cozy little 2 BR apartment. The picture led me to believe our rental was a house, but it wasn’t. Though we were comfortable, climbing stairs to this garage apartment was difficult. We hope to return, but will probably stay in a house in the Newport area.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay! Location could not be better. We were right in the heart of town, minutes walking to Bowen's and shopping, restaurants, bars. The house is so interesting, with wide-plank floors and pretty beams, and cute outdoor space. Nice size primary bedroom, perfect other bedrooms for our kids, with 2 bedrooms with bath on top floor. AC made the place super cool and comfortable (and not "loud" as so many AC units can be, lol). Easy access to the management company. We will……

“House was great. Charming. Would have liked a heads-up on the parking situation. Cost $30 per day in a lot 3 blocks away. Also, we brought ground coffee, only to find out there was only a Keurig machine. Really? Details are very important in your listing.”

“This place is right in the middle of it all and even has its own parking (big bonus). Common areas are spacious and had all the things you need to feel at home. Listing was exactly as described and the owner was very responsive to all the questions I had leading up to the visit. Use the messaging feature if you have questions. It is right on the street, so if you are staying in the front bedroom, expect a lot of noise. The bar across the street has karaoke on Sunday nights and it’s very loud……
