“You get what you pay for. Bathroom was tiny. Floors dusty, bed gave me a sore back. But fine outside of that.”

“The staff was excellent. The pool is at another building with approximately 15 chairs. There is no elevator but lots of stairs. No ice machines but staff will get you ice. No bar at the Lighthouse. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Balcony overlooks the bay. You will see turtles, mana rays, seagulls. Very quiet at night. The breakfast is placed in your refrigerator so cold muffins, yogurt and juice. We loved every minute there.”

It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate. All that and……

“Booked room from Trivago site got my price payed my deposit and at check-in my price was higher than what was offered at Trivago site I did not expect that check-in staff person would not honor price given by booking site. Expedia owns this booking site Trivago and probably others, people beware when using these sites, and when you have a problem like I just described, no one is listening. Hey Expedia I will never use or recommend to others to use your services, one more thing I am willing to……

“The room was a good size and very clean. It is close to the beach, an easy walk. The rooftop bar and restaurant was a great amenity.”

“Stayed one night just to not have to continue a long drive - Smelled musty and honestly, like pee as well. Looked like the sheets were yellow, and the whole place made me feel like I had to itch all night. Stains almost everywhere. And if you have a larger car, good luck with the parking. Staff was super nice, just not a nice place to stay (even just for a night to sleep)…. Hopefully they change all these issues, But if not, good luck to whoever chooses this hotel :/”

“I had a weekend vacation with my kids who were happy with the stay. A few things could be improved 1. The room cleaning needs consistency considering the beach location and sands is expected nuisance. My room was not cleaned during the two nights stay although the staff were responsive when we requested extra towels and sheets. The extra sheets that we found in the room were dirty. 2. I had to sacrifice my shorts that fall in the unit below my room and the staff on duty was slow to respond or……
