"I haven’t stayed in a place this awful since I was in college. I am beyond mystified how it could be rated the way it is and there are no warnings about the condition of the hotel prior to booking. They’re doing some kind of renovation, but they haven’t gotten very far and the place is a literal mess. The lobby is in shambles. The rooms are outdated and dark and there’s just nothing positive I can say. The TV had no streaming available and no premium channels and no guide. So in order to find anything to watch, we had to click through and wait for the system to catch up to show. It was what it was until we moved on to the next. We actually set our alarm for 2 AM this morning so we could get out of there as soon as possible after sleeping for a handful of hours."

"Absolutely awful experience at the Graduate Richmond, especially for a room that cost over $300 a night. The bathroom was filthy when we arrived — dusty, grimy, and just plain nasty. Conditioner was completely empty. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. For the price they charge, basic cleanliness should not be optional. Dust all over the shelves in the Suite, and just all around did not look clean or turned over properly   The valet staff was horrible as we were leaving.  Rude, Disorganized, unhelpful, and made an already frustrating stay even worse. To top it all off, I was charged twice for the same room, and nobody there could give me a straight answer on how to fix it. Being double-charged for an already overpriced room and then getting no real help is completely unacceptable. I also paid extra for breakfast and never received it. So not only was the room dirty and the service terrible, but I was charged for things I didn’t even get. For over $300 a night, this place was a complete disappointment. Dirty room, terrible service, billing issues, and zero accountability. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone."

"Some of the lights in my room didn't work and there was a rather rowdy group of kids/teens causing a lot of noise near my room after midnight. A lot of channels on the TV didn't work either. My friend and I got in late from working, there was no one at the front desk and there were two guys in the lobby she said that followed us towards our room so we locked the door just in case. Other than that, our stay was fine"
