“They did a great job renovating the Tar Heel motel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bring K-cups with you if you are a big coffee drinker and don’t pack heavy. This is the best of old school Outer Banks, reminds me of when my parents would take us to OBX in the 70’s staying at the Beacon.”

“The room was old and had a not so pleasant odor to it. The tub was stained so I wasn’t sure if clean. The remote and tv channel and microwave was sticky. ”

“It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!”
