“We find this hotel to be the best accommodation in the area and when we visit our daughter who lives in Tunkhannock, this is where we stay. The beds are comfortable, it is an immaculate hotel, the complimentary breakfast has quite a variety and the staff is very helpful.”

“The staff were very helpful. My personal opinion is that the mattress needed to be replaced. It was topped with a mattress topper which made the bed super soft. The headboard was very loose as well. The scones were delicious and over all facilities were nice.”

“The Retreat on Bridge Street is a lovely property. Our family stayed there for 2 nights while in town for a family funeral. It was such a warm and welcoming place. All new inside. Gorgeous floors and kitchen brand new. The decor is so nice. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are perfect for 6 people. Location is great in downtown Tunkhannock. As we have family in the area we will return for sure!”

“This was the cutest little railroad scale cabin. Plenty of firewood for fire and a beautiful fire pit. The property is clean and landscape beautifully. The hosts were so accommodating and kind I couldn’t ask for a better host. Wi-Fi worked wonderfully. Plenty of clean towels and dishes not to mention all of the utensils and a toaster oven microwave and coffee maker to boot. TV has streaming service which was great after a long hard hike. Can’t think of one thing they missed. We’ll definitely...

“This property is very nice! It is clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was simple and had everything we needed for our stay. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for my family and the downstairs recreation space was a bonus! However our favorite spaces were the porches especially the swings. The porches were great for relaxing and morning coffee.We will be returning when we visit the area again.”

“Very quiet and comfortable place, perfect for a relaxing stay. The sheets, blankets, and pillows were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils — everything you need to cook. The views are nice. Board games available for both adults and kids, which is a great touch. 100% recommended!”

“Time to invest in some upgrades. Guests shouldn't have to compromise when it comes to their privacy, e.g., master bedroom curtains. Guests shouldn't have to leave an overhead light on to use the ceiling fan at night. Guests shouldn't have to hunt for bath towels. If you're housekeeper isn't changing beds based on usage, maybe it's time for a new housekeeper. We won't be back based on the property.”
