“Lovely grounds. Historic building so room was a bit small. Bathroom was clean, good shower, towels, and amenities. I appreciated the coffee and pastry in the morning and the bottles of water. Road noise was substantial as it’s on a trucking route. Husband complained that the bed was too soft. Personally, I didn’t notice. I didn’t see an ice machine. That would have been helpful. “The Retreat on Bridge Street is a lovely property. Our family stayed there for 2 nights while in town for a family funeral. It was such a warm and welcoming place. All new inside. Gorgeous floors and kitchen brand new. The decor is so nice. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are perfect for 6 people. Location is great in downtown Tunkhannock. As we have family in the area we will return for sure!”

“This was the cutest little railroad scale cabin. Plenty of firewood for fire and a beautiful fire pit. The property is clean and landscape beautifully. The hosts were so accommodating and kind I couldn’t ask for a better host. Wi-Fi worked wonderfully. Plenty of clean towels and dishes not to mention all of the utensils and a toaster oven microwave and coffee maker to boot. TV has streaming service which was great after a long hard hike. “Very quiet and comfortable place, perfect for a relaxing stay. The sheets, blankets, and pillows were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils — everything you need to cook. The views are nice. Board games available for both adults and kids, which is a great touch. 100% recommended!”

“The area is very cute. Place is cute and clean. Has essentials. There were Instructions to take out the trash but no trash bags anywhere. Only two sheets of paper towel left for us to use. Carpet is pulling away from all thresholds and tack strips are exposed. My husband and I stepped on nails multiple times.”

“This property is very nice! It is clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was simple and had everything we needed for our stay. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for my family and the downstairs recreation space was a bonus! However our favorite spaces were the porches especially the swings. The porches were great for relaxing and morning coffee.We will be returning when we visit the area again.”

Communication with the property management is next level they will do anything in their power to make your stay luxurious. The pool and pool area is private and a must! Anything you need is extremely close by and once you arrive you will not want to leave. Wish we could stay for a whole month. Wonderful property wonderful people. ”
