“We loved this property so very much! Our stay was extremely pleasant and the home had many thoughtful touches throughout, not to mention the charming decor, small appliances and furniture (some restored from the original home). We also adored hearing and seeing the backyard furry friends and enjoyed the fire pit. “The building is so beautiful and rich in history. You can tell right off the bat how Natalie genuinely cares about preserving the history of this once former, bustling hospital. I was ecstatic when she offered to show us around. We were in awe the entire stay here, looking at every little bit of details - from the church pews to the ramps. Our room was amazing, such a comfortable and clean bed. The energy here was so calming. It felt like coming home and going to my room. Next time we travel up……

“The little cottage was as pictured on verbo, the view was absolutely beautiful and seclude. The driveway is narrow and large vehicles might get scratched on the sides; the kitchen had everything needed for a short stay, but to improve the overall experience needs to be updated.”

“Host was very communicative and check-in process was easy thanks to the detailed instruction left by them. Pictures of the listing are accurate. The game room and fully loaded kitchen were both great perks to have on our getaway. We did have a couple issues during our stay however. The downstairs heater was not operable so I woke up freezing at 5am and had to sleep in living room for the rest of our stay. The second occurred during checkout. “It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! The natural food co-op is also a wonderful place. For those coming from the city, be aware that this is a rural area. When I arrived, the cottage was……

“We stayed at the cottage as part of a coastal roadtrip, and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and full of character it was. The kids’ room was particularly lovely - our toddler loved reading the books and playing with the toys, and slept like a rock. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pup to let off steam. And we loved the thoughtful details, especially the record player. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing stay!”

“We absolutely LOVED staying here. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The place was spotless, the beds were so comfy and soft, and it had all the family-friendly amenities we could need (bath toys, puzzles, games, pack n play crib, high chair, baby shampoo). It’s clear that the host really puts a lot of care and thought into maintaining this home and making it a cozy, inviting space for her guests. It felt like a home away from home.
