"Lawn area going to the Trinity River is great. Several areas to relax and enjoy nature. I liked the room as well which was comfortable and clean. I hope the pool is opened up after memorial day as the website indicates."

"Always a pleasure staring at Red Lion, staff is so welcoming and friendly every time. I feel safe when I’m traveling alone and room is always clean. Only recurring problem I have is I consistently have problems with the keys working. Regardless, love this hotel and in my opinion it’s the last place you can stay in Redding with a real resort feel with the pool and courtyard. "

"Reception and kitchen crew were helpful and friendly. The room itself was big but carpet was old, so it felt musty and it looked like it hasnt been stayed in for a while. "

"I was pleased to find this motel as I traveled down California. It had a wonderful lady checking people in, though she probably could have used more help. She was efficient and personable but there was a long line. I ended up staying two nights because I felt safe here, a ways off the beaten path in Redding, where the beaten path included someone coming at me with a large stick asking for money. The couch was a BIG plus for me since I'd been in motels for almost three weeks and it's great to be able to spread out a little."
