"Hotel Excelsior was a very nice hotel in a very great location in Zermatt. The room was clean and modern the shower was amazing and while a small room it was very comfortable and included a balcony. "It's a bit of an up-hill trek to this hotel, but totally worth the effort. This historic property sits at the base of the Matterhorn, which we could see from our balcony. It was lovely. The property is very charming, but the staff at the desk was less so. And the beds were quite hard. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel."

We have travelled ftom Andalusia and all through Switzerland and this was the most comfortable. The breakfast was second to none....sooooooo much to choose from. Only one issue was a smell coming from the shower drain. Oh well!!!"
