The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

Great location to relax and visit. We really enjoyed going to the local markets and driving through the countryside. The jacuzzi was wonderful for sunset and morning dips. "This schoolhouse was the perfect place to get away. It's a very unique place! The owners attention to every detail is amazing. It place was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the rooms smelled good with the soy candles in the different rooms ( and the candles weren't even lit). We visited the Shawshank Trail which was about 10-15 minutes away. The whole weekend was like taking a trip back in time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience."
