"Had an awesome weekend enjoying the historical farmhouse, being one with nature walking the trail across the street, and visiting some local establishments. From the moment we booked, the owners provided prompt responses and answered any questions we had. Directions were on point and easy to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the history behind the area. The owners took a lot of care in the restoration process. We even got to relaxed on the porch with a glass of wine while watching the Amish horse and buggies drive by. The trail immediately across the street was a hidden gem. After about a 35 minute walk you end at a covered bridge. The trail is adjacent to the water; there are areas to stop and take in the scenic views. Relaxing weekend-we also enjoyed all the special spa products in the bathroom. Thank you for everything!"

"We LOVED our 3 night stay at this property. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday with friends and family and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home has everything you could need to cook and share a meal. I made guacamole one evening and went looking the the kitchen drawers for a lemon/lime juicer and found one! Was not expecting the property to be so well stocked, but it was definitely appreciated by everyone. The home was clean and comfortable and tucked away in a quaint country location (watch out for those Amish buggies at night, haha!). I loved that there was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably (4 bedrooms plus the basement had a pull out couch). We made use of the firepit and were very thankful the owners had firewood on-hand, fire starters, and even s'more sticks for the kiddos to use. I loved sipping coffee each morning while looking out front windows to see the horses be let out for the day. The kiddos LOVED the playing on the outdoor swings and checking out the creek at the back of the property. Communication before our stay with the owners was great. We didn't need anything while we were there but I know they would have been responsive if we did. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a gorgeous, low-key place to relax and hang out with friends and family. I can definitely see myself coming back here, especially in the summer to also enjoy the pool."

"Such a beautiful property! I would rate it 10 stars if possible. The stone house is located in the countryside not far from Lancaster and is beautifully restored and decorated with an homage to its history. The vibe is welcoming/ and the decor inspires comfort and relaxation with calm colors, plush fabrics and pillows, and very comfy beds. Our 8 year old especially enjoyed the sleigh bed. There were multiple seating areas to allow for family gathering or individual quiet moments. The host anticipated any possible needs and surprised us with an Amish shoofly pie, chocolate moon pies. and the makings for s'moors. The property overlooks a neighboring Amish farm and contains 2 streams for exploring as well as a firepit for evening relaxation. And let's not forget the chickens! The coops were strategically placed for optimal viewing from the windows, and we had great fun watching their antics and feeding them. We were also surprised to find a dozen of their eggs in the refrigerator...had a delicious breakfast the next morning! The host, Amanda, was very responsive and provided an immediate solution when we had a date change. Our age range was 8 - 70, and we all thoroughly our stay at the stone house and hope to return again!"
