“Did not go on property. Room not made over. Room was way down end of 3rd. Floor. No breakfast. Navi directions allways tryed to direct us through gated community.”

“The staff were pleasant but we had trouble getting help with a piece of medical equipment when we were ready to leave. The location is quiet and the breakfast was good. Our only real complaint was that the floor in our room wasn't that clean. It seemed a bit sandy underfoot from the get go.”

On two different nights both times were full of teenagers throwing water and smacking each other with wet towels. Restrictions of some sort on both that and the gym would accommodating. I did say something to the lady at the bar as I walked by but she just laughed.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE!! The facility was unattended in the early evening with a man armed with a rifle with scope wandering in and out of the adjacent woods, often within 15 feet of our window. A call to the front desk was sent to voicemail. We left our room key and a note at the desk, fled the grounds, and notified the local police. We contacted management the next day, spoke to an apologetic manager who was completely unaware of the events. She later reviewed security footage and assured us it was……

“This hotel has absolutely massive rooms by today's standards and shares all amenities with the much more expensive Williamsburg Inn and Williamsburg lodge. The tradeoffs are that you will not have a front desk and the furniture and finishes are much older. The reality, however, is that the tradeoffs are 100% worth it. The cost is half that of the Lodge and half to 1/4 of the cost of the Inn. You can still use the pool, spa, tennis courts, fitness facilities, concierge, ticket discounts, and……

“Clean and comfortable room especially after a long day at the local attractions. The staff was extremely welcoming and made our stay that much better - a true testament to southern hospitality. Their breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve had at a hotel.”
