“Great time and great stay ”

“We used to stay at this hotel at least once a year, to have a weekend with a glorious beachfront view, and we could always request the same room. Coming back now, it’s a totally different vibe. Seems like it has been bought out, and the new company only cares about profit, not the actual guests. We requested our same room and didnt get it, and instead we were berated at check-in for booking through a third party. We wanted to do laundry (which they used to have), but they no longer have it. And……

“This was an amazing find! Loved the property, so full of personality. Very quaint, house is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and charming yard ornaments. “Watch out for this place! We checked in at 3:30pm and put our luggage in the room. My husband and I left to have dinner and drinks only to come back at 11:00pm to have our room given to someone else! Mind you, this hotel doesn’t have a live person on the premises so everything is done over the phone and door codes are sent electronically. The person over the phone tried to send the young man in our room to another room next door giving him another code. When he opened the door, the room……

“Very nice staffs at front desk”

“It's a good clean basic motel. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. It's close to the freeway. It's close to city central to be convenient, but far enough away to not be bothered by the crowds. There's a refrigerator in the room. There is a liquor store/market 100 feet away, and there are two good restaurant/bars within walking distance. It's 2 miles from the pier...about a $9 Lyft ride if you don't want to drive. There is no breakfast or vending machines, except for the soda vending……

“The boutique showed up as cat friendly on my web search. I was traveling with my cat so excitedly booked. Once I finalized the payment I got an email which highlighted the property is not pet friendly and to please not bring pets. I quickly called to cancel but wasn’t able to get through to any staff. I called a few times over the next couple days- only to find out the staff is truly not available. I received emails about “we’re excited to see you” to which I’d reply “hi please help me……
