The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

"The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Thankfully, my room was ready an hour early and the room was clean and spacious. The only issue was the hotel restaurant. I don't think they were prepared for the influx of guests staying for the BTS concert who needed an option to dine without leaving the hotel due to the storm. No one really acknowledged the line except for 1 server apologizing for the wait. I waited in line for nearly 20 mins (longer for the 3 guests before me) before that server suggested sitting at the bar. We were still cautioned that it would be another 15-20 more mins before we could be served. I sat down to see if we would be offered water. In the meantime, I started an Uber eats order and realized that it could arrive in 20 mins-- much faster than the service I would receive at the Explorers Lounge. So I ended up leaving. Everything else about the stay was great."

"We loved our stay at the Renaissance Baltimore Harbor! We did not get the same check in at reception as others before us before us, and I am not sure why? We were not offered water, nor were asked if we had stayed before; the only reason I’m bringing this up is because multiple people before me were offered water and directions as well as information about the property. We were not, it seemed she (the woman checking me in) had a prior conversation with someone she knew and whatever the news was it was not good. Wish we had better service to welcome us; however the stay was lovely."

"I would definitely stay here again! The breakfast was great, they had mini omelets and sausage each day, in addition to a pancake machine and the typical continental breakfast fare, which was good for fueling up for a long day of walking. Napkins were hard to come by, they ran out fast, but the staff was quick to replenish them, as well as coffee and breakfast food, when made aware. I interacted with several staff members over the course of my stay and they were all pleasant and friendly, even when it was busy. They were awesome! The hotel has luggage carts you can use, Lavazza coffee all day (including decaf), and a small section of snacks and beverages (including alcoholic ones) for purchase. The elevator is a little slow, but the building is solid—I couldn’t hear my neighbors. It’s pet-friendly and while I saw a couple with dogs, if I hadn’t seen them I wouldn’t have suspected—there was no animal smell in the hotel and I didn’t hear any barking. The room was pretty standard. There are no drawers, but plenty of pegs and a few hangars instead. There is also no safe in the rooms (I wish there were). The shower had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, and there was a hand soap and lotion dispenser by the sink—they were all kept full and smelled nice. I was able to walk to the aquarium in 10 minutes and there’s a parking garage directly across the street from the hotel if you have a car; check with the hotel for the cost. This hotel is a great choice!"

"My daughter and I love this place. The lady at front desk I think her name is Dawn she is amazing above and beyond. We try to check in early because we want to be on time for BTS CONCERT. But the room not available for us. She told we either can you use the bathroom or special room to get ready and she even help us takin care with our luggage while we getting ready for the BTS concer thank you Dawn. We appreciate you. You deserve a raise 🥰🥰❤️❤️"
