Bayfront Park is a worthwhile place to begin discovering Downtown Miami. This recreation and green space comes recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only spot to see here. Lazy river was great along with the pool and great beach access. GG the lady server that brings you food and drinks at the pool was one of the nicest and kindest people I’ve ever met at a hotel. She truly deserves a big raise. If GG isn’t making a little less than the manager then the management doesn’t know how to manage. GG literally went out of her way to try to make your pool day unforgettable. The only place I would ever be staying at when I return to Fort Lauderdale would be Pelican and reason being is the staff.

A very meaningful landmark to the Cuban-American community in Miami features a small contemporary art museum that celebrates that heritage.

This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!
