“Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pictures that were listed when booking did not portray the rooms. Beds were booked as (2) queens but they were fulls. Carpets needs to be cleaned my suns socks were super dirty after walking on the floor. The overall listing is a little misleading for arcade and mini golf….yes they are next to the property but costs extra and not part of your stay. It’s a great little hotel but needs some upkeep/remodeling in the bathrooms and rooms.”

“The pool water was murky/dirty upon check in on July 3. A sign stated that the pool would be inspected on July 15. It should have been repaired prior to the July 4th holiday! There has been a great change from last year's owners. We have stayed there several years in a row and the pool was clean. The breakfast hours have been reduced from 7 am to 9 am instead of 10 am. The variety of breakfast food has dramatically dropped in choices. The new owners are saving money on basic items and thus are……

“Beds very comfortable. Room was dark, carpet is old and had a musty smell. Needs renovating, especially since the amount charged was extremely high for the condition of the room.”

“Terrible experience here. Two queen beds both had hair on the pillow, yellow stains, and on the floor it was super dirty with hair too. Called the front desk asking for solution, they said: we can bring another set of sheets right now and you change it yourself. Super unhelpful. DO NOT STAY HERE.”

The grounds are well kept with a charming little guest area to lounge and have a cup of coffee. Only a half mile walk to the beach and under a mile to town so very walkable too!”

“We checked in on July 2, 2026, and our first impression of the Freebird Motor Lodge couldn't have been better. The property has a fun, fresh vibe with clean, colorful décor that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing Cape Cod getaway.
