"Stayed here during my son’s Army Graduation at Fort Jackson. Located about 10 minutes from base, the location worked out well. Besides staying on base, this is a most convenient location. There are a lot of restaurants close, area felt safe, and if you want shopping everything is within 10-15 minutes. The rooms are all being renovated. They are clean and comfortable with nice amenities like a refrigerator. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. This location provided a substantial breakfast buffet that changed each day we were there. A beautiful oatmeal bar (or grab a yogurt and build a yogurt parfait), waffle maker, eggs, bacon or sausage and always a quiche, omelet, or egg croissant sandwich option, cereals, breads… the list goes on. The lady who does the breakfast here (Gigi) is amazing. Friendly, service oriented, and she keeps things very clean. Food was fresh and she just works her tail off to provide a great experience. This hotel has something special with her. The check in staff were also very nice. You will only get room service if asked for it, but they do ask you upon check in. We generally opt out as we don’t find it necessary. We would definitely stay here again, if we came back. "
