“The room was stinky. It smelled like cat pee, and cigarettes. The carpet felt damp as if they tried to shampoo it, but it only made the smell worse thankfully, I was only there for work, but the room smelled awful. I could barely tolerate it.”

“Staff were very helpful even before our stay. The breakfast offers quick options as well as made to order omelets. Our suite was a great value.”

“My boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to take a trip to HHI and needed a place to stay for a night. When looking for places I just wanted to stay somewhere that had a bed, a shower, and a toilet. This place popped up! After we checked in, the lady at the front desk offered us three options: a free room upgrade, an extra night for free, or 24/7 check out time. I initially chose one option but later decided to choose the extra free night bc I'd be silly not too. And she honored the request!……

“We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed Tybee Island. The motel is in a great place for access to the beach, it has its own clean pool, the room was comfortable and we had a little extra room with a coffee machine and fridge which was handy. the bathroom was teeny but the shower worked and we managed fine. The ladies on reception were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay there again.”

“The location of this hotel is great, very walkable to all the shops and restaurants of Beaufort, also many of the historic sites. Breakfast is great and the pool was very nice. Daily service in the room is not offered unless requested which was fine for me, but we did have to request wash clothes and coffee multiple times, I wish they just put a stockpile in the room. But, overall, a decent stay.”

“The stay went well once we received the entry codes, however the water stopped and started in the morning making it impossible to shower. It was inexplicable.”

“Run down property. Extremely dirty room, bathroom and shower. Front desk personnel were adequate with check in & check out but not polite, friendly or helpful in any way. Would not recommend this property unless you have no other choice at similar price point / accommodations. ”
