I gave this 5 stars because I have no doubt this was the best property in the area. The views are incredible and you are looking at the ocean while you are in the jungle. The free breakfast was a highlight for our family as we all spent time together eating both local and (US) standards. The dinners were equally delicious. We travel to Nosara once or twice each year. We usually rent homes but really loved our stay at Esh. The staff is wonderful and always ready to help with anything you need at any time. I can't speak highly enough about the staff at Esh! Beautiful property.

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. There were two other guests who also had food intolerances/allergies, and both were easily accommodated.The breakfast buffet had many fabulous choices. Great place to stay if planning on seeing arribada at Ostional, we had 4x4 so had no issues driving that last signing with pit holes. Great breakfast! We came after 6pm after normal check in hours but got checked in by staff no issues. Overall will definitely stay here again and recommend!

Our stay at Oxygen Jungle Villas was amazing! The property is very well taken care of. The rooms were beyond comfortable. We even saw a sloth on the property! The only thing that I would say is that anyone staying on the property must have a vehicle with 4x4 and the hotel should definitely disclose that at the moment or prior to booking. Other than that GREAT hotel!

We loved the small 2-bedroom apartment we booked for 3 weeks in July. For 2 kids and one adult it was perfect in size. It got a bit messy when we were 4 people. However, you are usually out and about and everything is close by on foot... Biggest plus: you are at the beach in 3 minutes! The pool is cleaned daily and really well taken care off. Our Room was more like a suite with kitchenette, small sitting area and huge shower. Breakfast was amazing... Better than in the "fancy" =expensive hotel we moved to. Good location between towns of quepos and Manuel Antonio !!! Would definitley go back.

We loved staying here. it was a romantic, pampered experience. Manager Scott made us feel very welcome and the wonderful staff were warm and helpful and friendly. The view and the pool and the surroundings are simply heavenly. I would recommend it very highly to anyone seeking an adult-only, beautifully appointed small boutique hotel in a lush, gorgeous setting.

If you want to really get away from it all and just kick back, this is the place. After driving down dirty, rocky roads, through crazy Tamarindo, you arrive at Cala Luna - paradise. Where do i start!! Absolutely love our stay at this hotel within the staff Moses at the bar. He was absolutely wonderful. Check-in was very easy. We had a grand bungalow and our room was phenomenal. Housekeeping was very clean. We’re around a lot of different restaurants five minutes away from the national park it was one great experience. There are a lot of animals and monkeys around in our hotel which was a plus my mom was at another hotel nearby and there wasn’t a lot of animals to see around...

Nya is a beautiful property with wildlife all around. I was able to watch a family if howler monkeys from the hammock outside my room. They left me a yummy dessert daily in my room they put in while I was out. The free breakfast menu had a variety of options including vegetarian. Property is town so walkable and beach is right across flyer road from the property. Got the best massage there as well.

The Hotel has 10 private villas, each very spacious and romantic. Our patio had a private plunge pool connected to a 6" deep pool area for lounge chairs "in the water". The villas are buried in dense vegetation giving the sense that you are in the jungle (which you are) on a hill providing panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. My family and I stayed at the Cristal Ballena for 3 nights at it was absolutely lovely. The hotel grounds are considerably large and extremely well-manicured. There are a variety of flowers, fruit trees and other shrubbery making our early morning hikes through the property incredibly pleasurable. The best part was the enchanting river we discovered. This place is fantastic. Wonderful location and amenities. The food here is 5-star and the service is even better. I loved the grounds of the hotel. Just be aware there are a lot of steps to get to your room. A lot. Even still I will be back.
