“We really enjoyed our stay — the house was beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. The view was stunning, and we loved all of the activities available nearby. It was a great place to relax and unwind.The host was fantastic. He responded very quickly and kindly accommodated both an early check in, and late check out for us at no additional cost. The only downside was that the loose dog from the neighboring cabin kept coming onto our property throughout the stay and reacting negatively towards……

“Property was even better than expected! Exactly what my family was hoping for. We had a great time fishing, boating and relaxing by the fire, with an amazing view. Property was clean and had the all the necessities we needed. Owners were kind and accommodating. We will be booking again for next year! ”

“Our family spent a wonderful week at Rustic Lodge. The expansive waterfront deck was the place to be during the very hot week. Upon arrival we discovered plenty of storage and refrigerator space. The rooms were larger than they appeared in the property photos. We all loved the Adirondak feel of the Lodge and look forward to returning next summer.”

“The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our Fall stay for rest and relaxing. The views every morning and evening were gorgeous. We love that the cabin is pet friendly so our dogs could join us for the week. We used the hot tub almost every evening to watch the sunset which were amazing. The amenities were outstanding which included use of the pontoon boat. There are also a few trails that you can walk to without having to get into your car. Our favorite was the Trout Trail……

“This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. The only other part that can be considered a……

“We enjoyed our time on the lake at Ron and Sandy’s. They were very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect with great swimming and on a quiet area of the lake. The camp was well stocked and comfortable. The kids are asking already to go back next summer.”

“Room was very dirty, poop stains in the toilet and particles left in the sink upon arrival, so I had to clean the bathroom before I could use it. Sofa hadn't been moved in forever, food and dust and sand everywhere. Yes it's cheap, but honestly not worth it. Breakfast was ok.”

“The air conditioner was very noisy. I think the fan is failing. The curtains would not close completely, so I had to pin them shut. The floor was not cleaned completely. These are not deal-breakers, but they should be corrected.”

“We pulled up to the hotel and thought it was closed. As I walked in there was a couple leaving and saying they were not staying. The hallways had a terrible smell. Rooms were not maintained and there was mold on ceiling, things were falling apart. We had to stay because we already paid for it. They should have just closed the hotel, remodeled then open it back. There were construction tape over over part of the outside. Parking lot had huge pot holes. Don't stay there.”

“Really cute place to stay. We stayed in the lower unit in the carriage house. It’s in an historic building and there are compromises. There’s no sound insulation with the upper unit. However it was very charming and the price was great. The owner was friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed here from Friday to Monday while attending a nearby competition. Everything was walking distance (restaurants, park, grocery store, pharmacy, theatre). The host made sure we had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with snacks, breakfast items, coffee/tea and water. There was even a deck on the back that we could sit on and blankets to use if we got cold. The bedroom was very clean and cozy. There was a mini fridge fully stocked with water juice yogurt milk, etc.”
