“Great clean cabin and property. New/updated rentals with basic amenities are hard to come by in this area and it was a nice change to our usual rustic accommodations that often require you to even bring your own sheets and towels. We needed some extra space for a big group and this was perfect and just a few minutes from the river and town. Thank you.”

“ House was perfect for our family of four. Outdoor backyard area was great. We played volleyball with the net and ball provided. Showed kids how to play tetherball. Fire pit was great for a night of watching the beautiful night sky and making smores. The house was cozy. Didn’t have a measuring cup, mixer, or bowl for making pancakes, but we made it work. I would have given it five stars except that the walk to the river was steep. It’s a workout coming backup with all the supplies. But the river……

“Really quite place to relax only problem is at night it really hard to pin point what drive way to turn to caues it so dark really needs lighting out there we did notice some stringing of light on the gat but by the time u see them u have to turn around and we were sad we didn't see any hummingbird we loved drinking coffee and seeing them last time we visited ”

“We had a great stay. Perfectly sized cabin for myself and my husband. Hes 6'4" so I was worried that it might feel small or bed would be too smal but it was not . We actually both commented that bed was really comfortable and we slept well. The little path to the river access is a very short walk. We also walked further down the old rockspirng road to a bridge where the rovef goes over the road way. It was a cool space. Easy trip to Garner State Park from here as well. Very nice trip. ”

“we actually love this spot on the Frio river. We have not been there in sometime and the cabins were the same as they have always been a bit rustic, but very clean and if the cabin was missing some type of kitchen utensil or anything Shannon was quick to get it to you. She does a wonderful job and we loved our stay.”
