"The hotel has been modernized- yet it has kept its historic ambience. The front desk staff was very helpful. The housekeeping staff missed a lot of details- but the front staff came through. The bar on the roof was fabulous! The location was excellent - Steps to Main Street restaurants and the many statue of all our presidents. The elevators are state of the art and take a little getting used to."

"Staff was great. Great location to walking downtown, restaurants across the street. Room worked out really well, nice view of the city and air conditioning worked great. Coffee in the room and in the lobby. Brought my dog and that’s nice that the allow dogs and a huge walking trail is just a block away (across a busy street, but once you get across it’s worth it) It is right downtown and on a busy street, so you hear traffic and motorcycles, and then the bar crowd when they get home at 2am and...
