“Of all of my stays in this area, this was my least favorite hotel. First, although bungalow sounds luxurious, the room is actually in a row of rooms so more like a motel. The outside faces a parking lot so no view. Like any other motel it has two tiny windows so little light in the room. Further, a Toto toilet sounds nice, but it is not in a water closet so it is constantly beeping and extremely annoying in the small room. They should have used the money for this on a better tv since the only……

“Nancy and Jim were fantastic hosts and their Casita Vista was adorable. It was a perfect studio for our weekend getaway and was stocked with fun activities to do too (i.e., books, old movies). The biggest plus for us was the mini AC and kitchenette. They had everything you can think of needing and we were stocked with towels and other basic necessities. 10/10 would recommend staying with them at Casita Vista.”

“We had a great stay and enjoyed the apartment, would love to come back again”

“Great location for an adult getaway—just know what to expect! If you’re looking for a low-fuss, no-frills stay in the heart of Oceanside, this is your spot. Don’t expect a traditional hotel lobby or a long list of amenities—it’s essentially a Bed & Breakfast style room with an attached bath. But what it lacks in standard features, it makes up for in location and vibe. You get prime access to incredible food, drinks, beer, a great fire pit, and relaxing garden spaces. It’s perfect for adults……

“Clean and chic”

“Love the room, The roof bar the lobby bar. The back coffee can be heard from room 205 in the morning. 201 & 301 street facing. Thursday night market is awesome. The door in room 205 does not close all the way so the auto locks trigger and keeps it open.”

“Great location to be near the action. Easy check-in/out process. Comfy bed and pillows. Probably bring earplugs though!”

“We love staying here. Great location and close to so many restaurants and shops.”
