"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "The hotel is old but clean. the room was nice and spacious. The girls at the lobby, the receptionist were not friendly but the other staff were so it was ok. During Christmas the hotel was decorated with beautiful Christmas decoration. the decoration was very beautiful and nice. Overall the hotel was nice and clean. love the free parking. It is a nice historic cute hotel. "

"I had a pleasant stay with my husband here while visiting downtown. Very friendly staff, we had a late check in at around 1am and were greeted with water bottles and a quick send off. Rooms are a bit smaller than expected and as shown in pictures and bathrooms are a bit small/outdated. Water from shower leaked from shower to bathroom floor and onto carpet. King bed was comfortable and clean. Woke up to a protest happening outside but my view to the street was pretty much blocked by the building...

"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....
