I feel like we really lucked out with this stay. Planned only 2 weeks prior, we booked accommodations last minute and took a chance on Avondale. It was perfect! Right on Beach Ave. in Cape May, we had view of the ocean from our balcony area. Upon booking, I received a call within 30 minutes from Avondale to confirm our stay and to ask us if we were OK with with walking up the stairs to 2nd or 3rd floor as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and the 2nd floor facing the beach was perfect....

Great hotel. Parking was a little tight, worried about door dings. Rooms were booked via third party, so first floor handicapped accomodations was not available as requested. We endured & survived. A lovely, quiet tucked away motel in a beautiful town. The room is comfortable and clean, there are only 8 rooms which is nice. Perfect for couples or families. We had a wonderful time at the very clean beach and enjoyed a stroll in the center of town on 96th Street. This hotel was the perfect place to stay for a quick trip to the beach. Rooms were exactly what they should be- clean, fresh, simple, and close to the beach!
