“The hotel has “invisible service”, which basically means no service, or the customer does the work. We received over ten messages, which is the service, telling you what to do. It was quite annoying, including requiring a $150 holding fee for incidentals and damage. They don’t service the room unless you email asking for it. The room was lovely, comfortable and historic. We didn’t find the coffee maker and refrigerator until we were checking out and opened the armoire (I guess that’s on us, but……
“My room was very clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very nice and enjoyable to talk to. No real food on base. Restaurants in the surrounding area were minimal. I parked on the street out front where you pay during the day and free at night. Everything about the hotel was enjoyable.”
“Our group of three booked a two beds room at the hotel, but the hotel gave us a room with a king bed. At check-in, the front desk staff did not inform us of the error, so we had to go back downstairs with our luggage to find out why.
