Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Fantastic view from the city view room! Highly recommend the city view spa room!!
I asked two employees where I could purchase the Rocky robe in the hotel. Neither knew advising the hotel did not have a store. I gave it one more try at checkout at which time I was told, why certainly, in the Spa. I purchased two robes, told this experience to the receptionist who was very nice. ...
very large room with a somewhat undersized bathroom, but not small bath. Very nice furnishings throughout. Kids welcome, and even in Spa lap pool on Saturday 8am-12 noon. Dining rooms and bar are top quality. staff are very well trained and attentive.
I was delighted with the cordial and obliging staff. Everyone Including the front desk, spa staff, and concierge were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I had an excellent experience and will definitely return!!!
Overall it was ok. I was there for four nights. The pool and spa was a nice amenity. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was horrible, but at least it was free. I would probably stay there again if I had to visit the same location.
Great room and staff. Enjoyed my staff. Decor of room was eccentric and unique. Corner spa King was spacious and bathroom was relaxing.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia is a beautiful and historic building that perfectly fits the old charm of the birthplace of freedom. The hotel exterior is nothing short of majestic and the interior lobby and bar area is incredibly beautiful. The one thing that I had a problem ...
We booked with the Inn at Penn about a week before our stay, which was last minute but they were very accommodating to put the two rooms we booked next to each other. Breakfast buffet is great and room service is both excellent and timely! The hotel was under construction when we got there, so we ...
This was a lovely hotel. I was surprised at the extra parking charge of $36 per day, but I'm not sure if that's a city thing, or just specific to this hotel. The room was clean and perfect for my two night stay. My fiance and I enjoyed time at the pool and spa.
For the 2nd year in a row, my family and friends decided to bring New Years in at the King Of Prussia, Chesterbrook Embassy Suites. This would allow family to travel, and not have to worry about driving back and forth. As always your staff was great to us, and they remembered us from last year. The ...
Was convenient for meeting grandchildren for a few hours before they flew home with their dad after their time with their mom in NJ. Better soundproofing in door that adjoined to next room would have been nice as that family believed in talking at a super loud volume any time they were in their room. ...
Very comfort enviroment but it need a spa and massage área so adults can release stress away from children.
I was in an oversize room with a king size bed. The bed was nice. The bathroom was also nice, but the shower flow was a little low for my taste. The room had a fridge, but no microwave, which is something I prefer to have for multi-day stays. The bar was small and too brightly lit, but it was ...
Pool is clean, gym is more equity then most, breakfast is hot and of good variety. Room is clean, spacious and a little more than expected. Room heat wouldn’t go above 65. Staff phoned and man cam to repair but a fuse was blown and he was unable to fix one of the 2 units. He said the one unit will ...
Comfortable room, friendly and accommodating staff.

A trip to Philadelphia is always fun no matter what the season, but the City of Brotherly Love really comes alive in late spring when winter ice and snow has had the chance to thaw and the lines to Independence Hall are short. South Philly’s famous Italian Market, one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating open-air venues, hosts a two-day festival every May where you can sample mouthwatering sausages and roast pork sandwiches. May is also the month when Philly’s Preservation Alliance’s Architectural Walking Tours open for business, giving you the opportunity to explore Ben Franklin’s Philadelphia or marvel at the art deco treasures dotting the city’s thriving downtown.
For those travelers who don’t mind plunging temperatures and a moderate amount of snow, winter is a great season to score cheap rates on resorts in Philadelphia. Catch the Mummers Parade on New Year’s Day for a display of colorful, over-the-top costumes and revelry that gives the Mardi Gras celebration a run for its money. There are also plenty of ski resorts close to Philadelphia in the nearby Pocono Mountains.
Independence Hall, the unprepossessing building on Chestnut Street where the Founding Fathers scribbled their signatures on the Declaration of Independence back in 1776, is one of Philadelphia’s most popular attractions, drawing 3.5 million visitors every year. Just a short distance away stands the Liberty Bell, one of freedom’s most enduring symbols. The Ben Franklin Museum, overlooking Logan Square, is Philadelphia’s premier science museum, filled with kid-friendly exhibits like a walk-through human heart, a space command, and a hands-on demonstration of electricity’s effects on the changing face of the earth.
Philadelphia’s most unique museum, however, is the Mutter Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of antique medical instruments, and other medical curiosities. Animal lovers should check out the Philadelphia Zoo, a charming 42-acre zoological garden that’s as famous for its historic architecture as it is for its orangutans and white lions.
Philadelphia is a city that takes care of business, welcoming millions of business travelers every year. You’d expect Philadelphia resorts to contain the types of premium amenities and services that appeal to discriminating travelers, and they do. Most resorts and hotels in Philadelphia near the city center feature complimentary Wi-Fi, a functional business center, and fitness centers. Downtown boasts plenty of Philadelphia spa resorts as well. Budget-conscious travelers have plenty of choices, including familiar names in the hospitality industry as well smaller inns and hotels owned by locals.
Twenty-five miles northwest of Philadelphia, you’ll find Valley Forge, the encampment headquarters of George Washington’s Continental Army during the bleak, cold winter of 1777-1778. History buffs know the site as the place where America’s Revolutionary War heroes fought a war against cold, hunger, and deprivation that may have been harder than the battles they fought against the British. Today, though, Valley Forge is the site of a beautiful park filled with trails that attract hikers, bicyclists, and fly fishing enthusiasts.
Drive a little farther into Pennsylvania, and you’ll come to Longwood Gardens, a historic conservatory and arboretum that’s built on land once owned by William Penn. Longwood is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the United States with 40 indoor and outdoor specialty gardens. At Christmastime, its outdoor trees are strewn with thousands of lights for a unique, illuminated show. Whether you’re looking for a hotel with a full-service spa or a cozy room to use as a base between sightseeing expeditions, if you’re searching for deals on resorts in Philadelphia, there’s no better place to start than Expedia.com.
