"Stunningly beautiful property with unbelievable vistas from the dining room and pool (amazing). The staff were attentive, helpful, and cheerful and the food was excellent (some of the best we had in all of Italy). They offer free shuttle rides to the city with the last shuttle returning at 6:30 PM. We felt pampered and would actually have preferred to have stayed and spent more time at the hotel rather than running around Florence. Great place to relax and decompress."

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing. Take time to eat the incredible breakfast in the garden, watch the breathtaking sunset in the back it’s incredible. Alessio- does it all he was...

The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous.
The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

This is a beautiful hotel just outside Florence. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main city of Florence but it is worth the drive if you looking for a peaceful relaxing quiet hotel. The grounds are fabulous and the restaurant on site is superb. The hotel is decorated in rich colors and beautiful furniture and has great historical items. The entry is what you would expect from a grand hotel yet very local. Check in was a breeze and they did a great job. We arrived late on a Friday evening after...

We only stayed one night at this place but we really enjoyed it. Very cool vibes. Only downside is that getting to the room feels a bit complicated since it's in a different building than the lobby.

If you are planning to visit Florence, this is the hotel you should book! It won't let you down. Your Florence stay will be brilliant and memorable.
I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...

Great clean room. Just what we needed for an overnight prior to flight home from Venice. Staff was great and helpful. Made taxi arrangement for morning and gave suggestion for restaurant for early dinner prior to 7pm openings for most restaurants.

It was truly an exceptional experience everything was at top rate quality. It takes less than 4 mintes go to the center of Florence because tranvia( transportation) is just close to the hotel. Staffs are very friendly. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing, and was a great deal in the off season. We paid €120 for a very nice room with a great big shower and a little private patio. The downside is being a long way from Florence’s attractions and restaurants. The closest place to eat was an 8 minute walk. If you have a car and want to be away from the madness of the tourist areas this is your place. VERY quiet.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good.
We stayed one night due to an early flight. We were able to park the rental car on-site for free. We returned the car to the airport rental lot at 5:30 am.

Kiara was wonderful from start to finish. The staff are welcoming and so very cordial. She even upgraded my room. The property itself is gorgeous with lots of space. I appreciated the unique touches of this property. Breakfast was also very nice to have in their restaurant which has a very lovely skylight, perfect way to spend a slow morning on vacation. Thank you, Hoxton I am a loyal fan.

Everything about the Plaza Lucchesi is beyond excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly. In particular the bar staff (Lorenzo, Marko and Leonardo). Enriquo, the food and beverage manager is great and Sylvia and Roman at the concierge desk are knowledge and very helpful. I will never stay anywhere else in Florence.

I cant say enough about the hotel! When we arrived in a taxi we did not realize the taxi did not accept credit cards. We were a bit stressed as we had just traveled over 15 hours. Imran, the doorman came to our rescue and without any effort on our part, pulled out his wallet and paid for our taxi. We then exchanged cash in the hotel and promptly repaid him. Check in was prompt and professional. The room was outstanding! Clean, elegant, stocked with everything and more we would need and just...

The best area to stay in Galluzzo is within the village center itself, particularly around the main square, Piazza del Galluzzo.
This central area provides convenient access to local amenities and a more authentic village experience. You'll find a few local eateries, a pharmacy, and small shops, all within walking distance. The Via Volterrana, a main road that passes through Galluzzo, offers easy connections to Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
For couples seeking a relaxed and authentic Tuscan experience, staying in Galluzzo offers a peaceful retreat while still being incredibly close to Florence's attractions. You can enjoy the quiet pace of village life, perhaps with a morning coffee at a local cafe, and then easily take a short bus or car ride into the city for sightseeing.
Travelers looking for a base to explore both Florence and the Chianti region will find Galluzzo ideal.
When is the best time to go to Galluzzo?
For a pleasant experience, the best time to visit Galluzzo is during the spring (April to June) and fall (September to October) months.
During these periods, the weather is generally mild and comfortable, making it ideal for exploring the Tuscan countryside and enjoying outdoor activities without the intense heat of summer. Spring offers blooming landscapes and fewer crowds, while fall provides agreeable temperatures and the opportunity to experience the grape harvest and olive oil production.
Couples looking for a romantic escape will find these seasons particularly appealing. The gentle weather allows for leisurely strolls through vineyards, outdoor dining under the stars, and visits to nearby historic towns without the peak tourist rush.
