“The structure has a ton of character and the hotel is very centrally located. However, I would expect a higher level of service from an establishment boasting a Michelin key. For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel.”

“The outdoor space was amazing with great views. They advertised laundry but there was no laundry in the unit or on property-we chose this place as our midway point to do laundry and had to walk 10 minutes away to do laundry at a laundry mat.”

“The location is very good. All luxury shops are located near the hotel. But the windows are not well soundproofed. Music from the restaurant near the hotel was so loud. You have to wait until 00:30 before the music stop then you can sleep. The hotel female staff's attitude towards guests is rather cold Besides from these, this hotel is the best choice when you travel in Firenze.”

They provided us an iPad to use during our stay, which is very useful in our trip. The complimentary tea and happy hour also brightened our trip!”

“Borgia di Firenze shares the building with other properties. It is central to everything, so convenient. We were serenaded every night with an opera singer practicing his craft in the square. Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. Did not know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. We’ll stay here again when we return to Florence. Hopefully……

“Daniel was fantastic he contacted us before we were due to arrive to see what time we were arriving and said if the room was available we could go straight in and it was just after 1200 fantastic. Really good location for everything the only slight negative due to our age more than anything and nothing that could be done as this is an old building the stairs 4 floors was difficult with luggage. However a brilliant place to stay in Florence”

“Room 5 the a/c had a difficult time keeping up wth the June heat. Staff was exceptional! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Never needed a taxi during the stay. Walking distance to the train station.”
