She is a gardener, so the place has a garden feel. The only thing that might be a negative for some people ..."

"Vintage Hotel in the center of Union Square. Great location in the shopping district with nearly everything within walking distance. Anything else is a short Uber away. Exceptional staff. Wish rooms had a microwave and we had two double beds and needed queens. Fantastic stay. "

"When room doors were being closed near my room, door closing sounded like banging on my door. It startled me in my sleep several times.
Also, staff not always available when trying to buy food, pick up my baggage or get help with baggage."

" The checkin process was a little slow, but everyone was friendly. The area and hotel itself is very busy, not the nicest area, and lots of transient people at hotel for whatever reason, most likely because the rooms are a great value., yet the place felt safe, the staff from house cleaning, security, lobby, had real good presence, and there was always someone around. The room was large and clean, and for so much activity the place was pretty darn quiet. no it's not luxury, you pay for what you get, but it's consistent, it's safe, and it's a great value."
