“It’s new and clean. Everyone is kind and nice. It’s close to the south gate of Shenandoah national park and the north gate of blue ridge road. ”

“The age of the property was evident. Torn carpet on outside walkways, receptacle box that came out when I unplugged my phone charger, bath faucet that was loose, sink faucet that was installed crooked…”

“Light out in handicap shower. Popcorn ceiling peeling in bathroom. In the middle of nothing off hwy. Continental breakfast almost nonexistent. Several miles to town for food and fuel. Room WAS clean.”

“24 hour service, which is good if you need to check in late at night like I did. Clerk was professional and courteous. Room was clean, but floors were slippery like the soap was still on there. AC unit worked well, but was very loud. Easy parking and right off of 81. Caught glimpse of deers in the backyard when I got in, cool experience. All linens, toilet paper, and two bars of soap was provided. Overall good experience for the price paid.”

“BEWARE OF THE NON DISCLOSURE OF $80 CLEANING OR TOWEL FEES - ADDED AT CHECK OUT. We booked our stay through Expedia, where the apparent "$80 towel fee" was buried deep in the terms and conditions. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed the extra charge. After three days of going back and forth with Expedia & Historic Berkeley, I was finally able to get the cleaning fee refunded from Expedia, even though the monies were collected at the hotel. The hotel was apologetic but placed the blame……
