"The entire property gets five stars! "

"We had a good experience here overall. The lobby/pool/restaurant area was lovely. The food by the pool was great. The drinks were average. Service was wonderful! Our deduction of two stars comes from the stay within the unit itself. We had a 2 bedroom villa and were not crazy about the fact that there was only 1 full bathroom. Also, none of the windows have curtains and they have porch lights that do not turn off, so the lights shining through were very bright and disruptive to our sleep and our babies’ sleep. If this doesn’t bother you, it shouldn’t be an issue. But it was very uncomfortable for us. The hotel staff offered no suggestions, just apologized that this is how the fixture are. Also, the blankets and bedding are extremely thin. Again, if this doesn’t bother you, disregard. But it was uncomfortable for us. Overall a beautiful property with great onsite amenities for kids. I just expected more from the 2 bedroom villa for the price. "

"Leaving a review to let Travellers know that this place deserves a better rating and reviews than what some Travellers have left. We had a great stay! The property is older and could use some upgrades but it was exactly suited for our stay. Property is right on a canal where you can see Tarpon, Manatees and other fish, if you have a boat you can dock right there. Our stay was quiet and peaceful and housekeeping took care of any needs we had. Its within walking distance of a few restaurants, dive shop, bait shop, snorkel tour. I would recommend Lido73, Mar Bar and Old Tavernier restaurants all within walking distance. Just know it not the 4 seasons just and older property that will suit your needs. I would definitely come stay again. "

"First time staying at Sunset Cove and we had such a great time! We got an ocean view room and the experience was phenomenal. The room was very clean, staff friendly, BBQs available and they provided all grill tools, laundry facilities, and access to kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be returning! "

"Beautiful property! The staff was wonderful! We did have a small issue with housekeeping, there is a room service tray left by our front door upon check-in from prior guest and not picked up for two days. Also, we had asked for additional towels that never came. We will definitely be back though, as the location and resort itself is wonderful."

"Overall I would not stay at this property again. The cleanliness of the room was severely lacking. Including finding a drawer full of clothes that the precious guest had left. My room shades weren’t working properly and the elevator was broken during our stay. The positive is that the property sits in a beautiful spot on the water and there are great seats and hammocks to sit with a gorgeous view. Walk next door to Snooks for food and drinks on the water. Overall was not clean enough for me and most definitely not worth the high price."
