“I would rather sleep in my car then stay here again. They charged me three times over $600 for one night saying I stayed 2. When I talked to them about this they stated I didn't talk to a manger at the front desk and that's why I was charged extra. I booked through Expedia and there was a record of the conversation that shows I was only staying one night and the agent talked to them and confirmed this. Yet they want in writing from Expedia that I stayed one night so they can submit it to……

“Property could be a maintained and cleaned up. -Room assignment was random and required 3 phone calls. Ended up with a first floor room without much of a view. Was told we had to call at exactly 4 o’clock to get key code. -fireplace inoperable. Had to adjust pilot controls to get it to come on then it never went off despite the timer on the wall. - room very outdated and dirty. Not at all like the photos. No rug or sitting chair. Mostly thrift store style furniture. - outside major……

“The owner bent over backwards to make our one night stay comfortable and relaxing. The Admirals room was small and a bit difficult to navigate the hallway to the private bath for the visually handicapped but was not a problem otherwise. Breakfast was excellent. If you have a choice I'd stay in the Captains quarters, a larger room.”

“It was a nice retro place to stay. The old school ac was amazing. And the DVD player was a nice surprise and a decent selection of them. The staff was excellent.”
