“We were basically just there to sleep. Got there late one night and left next morning. It served its purpose. The beds were comfortable. The fireplace was a welcome addition since it was cold and raining. The stairs were a little steep, both the ones inside and cabin and outside. “This home was perfect for our group of four fly fishing anglers. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful location on the river. Comfortable beds, clean and welcoming. Place has a dock with boat slip for river Jons. We dined out, so did not use cooking amenities. Cotter, Lakeview, Mountain Home, Flippin are conveniently 10-20 minutes away for dining and shopping. As I recall, photos depicted a Mr. Coffee maker which we prepared for, yet the home furnishes a K-cup maker. No worries though, coffee K-cups……

“Unfortunately we were not well informed on the heating situation until the morning of check in. The wood burning stove that is listed in the description and in the pictures... does not exist. It is a generator under the deck with a plug in fireplace. It definitely kills any romantic mood you might be feeling listening to a generator and smelling gas. Unfortunately it ran out of gas in the middle of the night and instead of getting fully dressed and going outside to attempt to gas it up, we……

“This is a fisherman cabin - not a Vrbo. Large bug zapper in cabin full of dead bugs. Kitchen utensils old and sparse. Hand railing full of splinters. The cabinets were full of junk -nowhere to put our food. Way overpriced for what u get. The cabin was cozy. ”
