They even shoveled off all the cars after a snowstorm! Awesome!

Very nice property and close to Toyota Oakdale Theater and restaurants. Perfect for what we needed and our intended purpose. Would recommend.

Clean , comfortable, great staff

Nice property. Surrounding area is not great…

For a small family-run motel, this was a little gem. I was lucky to get a room there for my niece's Phd grad at Yale this past weekend. Very comfortable king bed, flat screen TV, great air-con, super shower, fridge, & microwave. I always travel with my own mug, instant coffee & tea, so I was all set. Setting is fresh air country, with flowers & evergreen shrubs around the motel. Office has a Keurig coffeemaker, ice machine, and cold drinks machine. Definitely would stay there again!

The bed was amazing. The only complaint that I have is that the room that we were in there were lamps on the wall right behind the headboard and I kept hitting my head on one every time I moved on the bed sitting up. Other than that there's a pretty cool place to stay the shower oh my goodness. Somebody needs to get a raise whoever decided to put that shower higher it made it awesome.

Friendliest staff!

My stay here I found to be excellent. I travel and stay in hotels every night and I mean every night so I am an authority in hotels due to the fact that I am particularly picky and paranoid at the same time ( I know it's weird.) when we arrived the desk clerk came out to help us park, very much appreciated. I explained to the clerk my situation how I don't like parties and that sort of thing he assured me that he did not put up with that stuff so I felt calm and relaxed. The room was clean and...

It was a great location. Breakfast was good . Staff were Great very helpful!

I never thought a motel 6 could feel like home, but they’ve done it. The staff is so caring and is always going above and beyond to ensure my disabled mother and I are comfortable. I’d choose this place again in a heartbeat!

We live locally however needed a New Haven hotel for our wedding guests as well as ourselves. The Blake was perfect! A beautiful property centrally located to downtown, Yale, and the entertainment area of the city. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the city!

This location was just okay, in spite of the friendly hosts. The walls between rooms are a bit thin and we listened to our neighbors' TV quite a lot late into the night. The deadbolt on the room door did not align with the door frame and we were not able to lock the door from the inside. Get a non-mountain view room if you want true quiet and no road noise.
